What to wear?
At the very beginning you can just wear tracksuit bottoms and some training t-shirt or long sleeve shirt.
Later you are going to need Keikogi – traditional training uniform – the prices vary greatly depends on the company style material etc. but the start from around £30, if you are not sure what to look for drop us a line we will help you out.

Weapons
For the very beginning we will supply some bokken (training sword) but very soon you are going to need your own one and then later Fukuroshinai (leather cover bamboo sword).
We will explain and help you get the right one when you join the club.
The prices of the kenjutsu boken start form £80 (if treated correctly will last years), and Fukuroshinai £180 … that depends on JPN yen / GBP exchange ( this will also last years or even life time … depends on training)

Grading
There is flat fee of £15 ( which goes to governing body for your grade registration and certificate )for grading all the way up to Dan grade.
For Dan grade examination fee depends on JPN – GBP exchange and cost of examination in Japan.
